A strong crime/thriller. I enjoyed the story overall and really liked the main character, a flawed and oh so realistic female detective that is trying to solve the mystery behind a missing girl while also trying to deal with her own crumbling life. The mystery aspect was good, and kept me guessing.

My biggest struggle with this one was the multiple timelines. I am often not a fan of separate narrators, but this was all told through one characters perspective so I didn't foresee an issue. The problems came in when the chapters started switching timelines without a clear indication of the switch taking place. As there are many cross over characters from all of the timelines, I found myself confused more than once.

On to the next!
