5 stars!!!!
I really enjoyed this one. It was atmospheric and a slow burn folk horror set in the eighties. I loved the cast of characters and the peek into suburban life that was given. Oh and did I mention that it is set on Halloween????
The pacing slowly built up and the last couple of hours ( I listened to the audiobook) were fast and creepy and just a blast.
I wouldn't describe it as a challenging read, but the few others who have suggested it should be considered YA ...I have to disagree.
On to the next!
