An amazing ghost story. Set in Italy, it was wonderfully atmospheric. The majority of the story takes place on an island that has been used over the centuries as first an isolation / plague hospital and then as an asylum for the insane. Horrible things have happened to the inhabitants of the island and their spirits are not at rest.

This one was just so well written and the audiobook was done very well. A new favorite for my shelves!
